Hi bike sounds great. I will be getting mt09 this week 16 plate 12.000 miles it comes with the Same exhaust as yours but my question is did it get flashed as I here know catalyst in the Akro.. As Don't want burnt valves Bike all ready running lean from the factory.. I hope mine as the new cam chane tension in..

I cannot ever get over how well the R1200GS's handle, absolutely love mine, they seem to prove Scottie wrong and "you can defy the laws of physics" :) In terms of real world power where keeping sportier bikes revved up enough isn't always practical or easy, the GS is a lot faster than people think from looking at the performance purely on paper.

I had my mt09 tracer stolen and needed a bike that was slightly less expensive to insure (as I'm now screwed insurance wise). Went with a gsx650fa from 2014. Done 5500 miles and is lovely. I will miss the mt09 a lot. What a bike but tend to agree with everything in your ramblings :) good one!

Interesting, though only due to my driving an auto(Volvo diesel)& that's the auto AT. I'm going looking as with an additional cruise control,I can see me riding off (whatever the weather)to wherever,for no other reason than it exists instead of having to wait for warm enough weather to venture out on my old CBR 600. Did you chose the Termi after hearing a Ducati or just because....?
